The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 25,649 up 399 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 7,796 up 108 points.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 1.93% at 10,433, though BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 1.82% at 10,672. The India VIX (Volatility) list is down 0.87% at 24.35.
All sectoral lists are trading in green, the BSE Auto and Banking lists have hopped 2% every at 17,416 and 18,984, separately.
Vedanta, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Maruti Suzuki and Bajaj Auto are among the gainers, while GAIL and HUL are losing sheen on BSE.
